Gold Coast K9 offers private training for those personal protection sports competitors who want to improve their competition scores. Whether its tracking, obedience or protection Gold Coast K9 has set the standard in which many measure by in personal protection sports today.

Gold Coast K9 has set a plan for first time competitors to be awarded high in trial, high tracking, high obedience, high protection and top dog in police k9 competitions as well as consecutive national champions in personal protection sports.

Gold Coast K9 has found that training in large groups in general does not make for a good learning environment.

Gold Coast K9’s group sessions are never more than five handlers at a time for optimum learning.

Gold Coast K9’s trainer Rodney Spicer is in a unique position in that being a judge in several different personal protection sports and being a certified agitator gives him the insight through a judges eye, as a handler Rodney has a feel for when to motivate, reward and finish and as a certified agitator he get the feel for what the dog has to offer and what can be improved.
